Had my 2.2 S for one year now, notched up just over 9k and it's first service was last week.
If you suffer from any form of bad back or muscle problems then get the standard car. The S handles very well and is comfy enough but, can give a hard ride over some rough roads expecially in town. In reality that awesome handling can only be exploited less than 20%,of the time imho, unless you get it on a track and then watch out everyone else.....
Around town expect 22 - 25mpg while steady commutes and cross country drives combining of country A roads, dual carriageways and the odd small town and village should see 27 - 30mpg.
Definately get the Mango's Mod 4, it's worth every penny and makes it sound lush as well as giving it a bit more grunt or else, prepare to get left behind by Corsa's and non GTi Golf's. Comparing my Bella with other cars with known performance, I would estimate my 0 - 62 to be around the 8 sec mark now, engine bedded in and kicking out around 197bhp with the Mango's Mod 4 fitted. Brakes are from the 3.2 so no issues there, plenty of stopping power and all in all, a real head turner,
the pick of all the Brera's for looks but, be practical....dare I say it but, while i'm sure it will be comfy enough, a 2 hour daily commute might be better off with the 2.4 Diesel
Sorry, off to wash my mouth out now
