I have some Gliptone but not used it. I can recommend the AG leather cleaner and their Leather care balm, both excellent stuff.
If the seats are really grimey, you may have to try something stronger like an APC (all purpose cleaner). If the seats look shiney this is the greasey grime sat on and in the grain of the leather. If after using a dedicated leather cleaner this still remains then thats when you have to attack them with a stronger cleaner.
Don't be affraid of using something like APC on leather, just pre test some on a unseen section to make sure it doesn't make the dye run, which with modern leather seats shouldn't happen.
P.S. Autoglym Leather Care Balm also protects the leather, which helps keep them clean and leaves a nice matt finish.
