^^ more blatant marketing speak
I have read this post from the begining and watched it develop with interest.
The issue here was the selling agents (the dealer) not Warranty Wise.
The customer is told a warranty is all singing and dancing to us the buyer. We fall for this and then when a claim is made we blame someone!! because we are angry and have to shell out money.
I bet 99 % of people never read the policy documents and exclusions properly. I never have.
Not until something goes wrong.
All companies state their level of cover in writing and if it is covered they must / will pay.
I was just sold a warranty with my alfa not as good as "warranty wise", I was told it was a comprehensive policy covered everything !
Well it sort of does, but has a £500 per claim limit I was not told of this until after I had signed all the documents, also many specific parts have lower claims limit than that.
Also "warranty wise" the comments about Alfa needing it (the cover) seems fair to me, My car has had more minor issues in 6 weeks than my last 4 cars added together, not in cost but this car that I love has gremlins a plenty and far more than I would expect for a fully serviced 3.5 yr old car. I have never replaced a wish bone in 30 years, yet they seem like a consumable part from posts on here.
I am proud to own it and i love her! but if honest she lacks some quality in certain areas compared to my audi and vauxhalls and fords from the past.
apart from my last TT she is the best looking car I have owned and certainly the best looking 4 door car out there!
