Spider roof adjustment and re-calibrated
Roof now operating again.
It cost me £306 at Preston Motor Park (used to be an Alfa dealer, now Fiat). This included a diagnostic check at £85 + VAT which, surprise surprise, was found to be clear.
So all they've done is adjust and re-calibrate, and they had the car a maximum of 3 hours. How they can get away with £102 per hour is beyond me.
I'm still getting a very slight lift at one side at the rear when travelling at motorway speeds, this does however settle down once I'm down below about 50mph.
So that's now £460 spent on the roof in 13 months, just labour, no new parts. Not brilliant but very typical with Alfas. How long it'll be before it starts playing up again God only knows, but I know it's only a matter of time.
The MOT's due next month so it might make sense to try and get rid of it then and replace with a GT Cloverleaf, Brera or a reliable car from Germany.
