New disc/pads - brake bleeding 159
I am about to change the discs and pads on my 159. First look, tells me that the calipers will need to be taken off and as the brake pipe is solid to the caliper it will have to be disconnected, loosing brake fluid, I will of course clamp off where there is a flexi hose. Question is, I dont recall, can I just bleed off just the front calipers in turn as I reassemble? Will any DOT 4 brake fluid be OK? (Lockheed?). Do the pistons just press back in or are they on any kind of ratchet?
Is there anything else I need to be aware of please?
Someone said to me, "so whats so special about an Alfa Romeo then?" I told him, "If you have to ask, you wont understand".
