Help Fitting 159 mudflaps to Brera

last week I decided to purchased a set of 159 mudflaps with the intention of trying to fit them to my Brera. I know some fellow members have already fitted them to their 159 Ti's but was wondering if anyone had fitted some to their Brera.
Picture of the mudflaps enclosed:

Do I need to modify them in any way so that they fit.
I've already tried to position them so that the larger hole lines up with a screw already in the wheel arch but it make the mudflap sit quite high up

Any help much appreciated
