That is a very true point - the sheer number of them on the roads these days is astonishing. I mean they are an expensive car yet I see at least 5+ in South West London any time I am out in the Brera.
I take it VW are doing some pretty good deals on them.
I think not, I could have got a much better deal on another Brera, but I never buy the same model or stay with the same brand.
Looks are a personal thing, and this is an Alfa forum, so I'm not too suprised that people seem not to like the Scirocco.
Many people are still wary of Alfa, you might get the odd vw with problems but they are very few in comparison to the numbers sold, whereas Alfa have a high number of problems in comparison to numbers sold. Look at the steering rack problem on the Brera's and the number of owners on Alfaowner with the problem, it's a high percentage.
There is no denying the Brera is a good looking car, but that is all it's got, and in the real world the Scirocco kills it in near enough every area, that's why it's popular, nothing to do with discounts. Getting a large discount off vw is like getting blood out of a stone, whereas Alfa is easy.
I could have had £5000 off a Brera S before I bought the Scirocco and I bet the Scirocco will still be worth way more after 3 years
