I bought a set of Michelins for mine (HP Primacy, 235/45/18) - now I know you're thinking expensive, but I got a deal for £130 each, (£520 the lot) which was the same price as the Kumho's I was thinking of. I wasn't aware of the Accelleras at the time, but even at about £100 more I think I might have gone for the Michelins.
They do feel more solid, but not in a harsh way, compared to the pirellis I had on before and other then the wheel mis-alignment which scuffed about 3mm off the inside edge of the fronts over 6000miles they look as new. Ride feels as firm but grip oddly seems up - but that maybe new tyre compared to old tyre. I'm very impressed and feel my purchase justified.
Had Bridgestones on a previous 159 but they felt more like solid tyres as opposed to making the car feel solid like the michelins do. Much prefer the Michelins to the Bridgestones, prefer the Michelins over the Pirellis.
I know tyres ain't cheap but haven't kwik fight got a 4 for 3 deal on continentals at the moment? If that gets them around the £500/£550 mark for a set, they might be worth a shot. Others elsewhere on this site have spoken highly of the Conti's.
