Acceleras have been fine for us as summer tyres. I am becoming a little suspicious of them now that it is getting cold.
They certainly have their detractors on here, but I really haven't been able to fault the 19" versions all summer - rain or shine, they have been good. I had an epic "OMG" moment with standing water 2 seeks ago, but the car went though without a twitch.
However, now that temperatures are dropping below 7C in the morning, I am noticing that the car has become more skittish on wet roads, and particularly the back end needs more careful handling. I have a set of Falken winter tyres on its way, so I will see if this makes a difference. I have a feeling that an Accelera/Summer and Falken or Pirelli/Winter combo may be the best compromise.
Lots of people running Acceleras on 18" seem to be annoyed with them.
