UPDATE: Okay im gonna give powder coating my calipers a go... I got a price from a company which does detailing and brake caliper/hub restoration, they said they would do it for £25 a corner but I am not sure if its worth doing the back ones as they are small calipers? I know the Brera S has the back ones in red... if anyone has an S it would be good to see them close up or if someone could tell me if it looks good on an S... tbh because they are small you don't really want to draw attention to them.
And anyone know how to exactly get the Brera S red colour... is it a bright red or slightly duller red like the rear lights. I might do them slightly darker to match the rear lights and the red leather interior.
Also my wheel nuts, hub and around it are a little rusty and was wondering what I should do to get it fixed, should I powder coat them aswell? (its included in the price anyhow). But can that withstand the heat and how would you stop that from then rusting? I just want that whole general area to look as good as it did new. Also are the nuts chrome when new or just metal finish?
Finally Autolusso, someone said you are the one to see about brake restoration so I was wondering if you would beat/match that price before I head down to the detailing place to get it all done? I'm sure you have done this sort of thing on a Brera already?
Images show: (Apologize for it being so dirty... obviously when its all done it will be spotless
