Blimey that's good!

I definitely think the milder weather is helping too!

The 155HP Mito TB only achieves the 155HP using 98 RON according to the Owner's Manual, there is no such comment regarding any of the other Mitos engines.

Hi 1750 TBi owners! Besides the pour fuel economy we are all getting, what turbo pressures do you have on various gears and rpms? I've created a new thread about it here, so please reply there. Mine seems to reduce turbo pressure on 1st and 2nd gears and also from 4500rpm higher.

I just got happy with my 27 mpg but just realized that I should be upset. Anyway, seems decent to me after 10 000 km.

Yer just over 23 mpg after 5500 miles but all town driving , still worth every penny though after driving a 220 cdi merc which averages about 33 mpg around town and sounds like a tractor .

Don't engines burn fuel more efficienty in cold weather?

Longer warm-up cycle. Engine runs much longer cold and cold running is very inefficient.

Might be of interest to subscribers of this thread.

Not a lot of running since Lambda Sensor connector repaired and Engine Management Software upgraded, but initial signs are very positive.

159 TBi ti 2010

Looks like this thread died 5 years ago. I'm averaging 30mpg as long as there are a few journeys outside of town driving. Drove from Chesterfield to Norfolk and back yesterday averaging 37.5mpg without hanging around. I've always been able to match or better the claimed manufacturer mpg. Must have a magic right foot.

No way for me. I average 21mpg(UK) - last 2.5kmiles. Mainly short distances, city, but no traffic jams (but plenty of traffic lights). The best I can do is 35mpg but that is constant speed of aroudn 60mph, the worse could be any, but say in city 16mpg driving very dynamically (reaching redline etc). 18" wheels and heavier SW body.
