a few years bck i bought a mint, late model Ford Mustang - it was about 8 years old, but had 23,000 miles on it.
by the time i sold it 2 years later with 50,000 miles on the clock it had suffered.....
transmission judder going into overdrive (took three attempts to fix)
trans oil leak
front ball joints knackerd
front suspension knocks
rear suspention knock
blew both head gaskets
engine oil leak (front main oil seal)
noisy power steering (common mustang problem)
more oil and water leaks
coolant temp sensor fail
mass air flow sensor fail
EGR valve fail
loss of power
the real kicker was that at just 49,000 it developed a wierd off balance condition that would shake the car violently at about 1200rpm. this got worse, with an accompanying power loss - when it went on the dyno to be diagnosed it was making just 48bhp at the back wheels turns out a faulty harmonic damper from the factory (wobbled) bent the crank shaft, result - complete replacement engine
i spent about £6000 keeping that car in good order, I'm not in a rush to buy another American Ford!

Never hold a grudge, its a sign of a small, petty person.
