I got to the dealership....
First thing I saw was a mito.... with standard mito horseshoe wheels.
Then.... I noticed a big cloverleaf badge on the site ...VERY Tacky, looked like a white PVC fridge magnet !!!.....
With the 'upgrade' cloverleaf alloys it may look nicer but for a top of the range car I would have expected top of the range alloys fitted as standard... it REALLY did not look special enough...
So... I got to the back of the show room. saw the Brera, Sat in the Brera and at that moment I knew I didd'nt even want to test drive the Mito. What I had expected of the Cloverleaf was more or less a sporty looking version of a Mito, which is was not. Really would be slotting money down a drain if I bought one.
So.... the search is on for a Brera Diesel now.
Thanks for all the support, really good to know that people find it more comfortable than a merc C class for example. and also good that no-one has felt the need to discuss problems they may have had with the Brera, more often than not you often find someone with a disaster story is quick to warn you. That has not happened
My only hope is that the Cloverleaf Mito and the forthcoming Giulietta are a big success. As this will fortify second hand values of ALL alfa's, including the Brera I want to buy now !
Alfa HAVE to do something about the Clover badge !....and I would say supply the Cloverleaf alloys as standard !!!
but.... Im a Brera man though
