Help Clocked 159TI?

I resently went away for 6 months so I gave my brother-in-law my 7 month old 159 TI. My father-in-law was kind enough to inform me that he thinks my car may have been clocked as it has only done 1020 miles since I loaned it , and it has been used regularly. How do I find out if it has been clocked or it has just been used on short journeys. Please help me.

I thought, bearing in mind the palaver SR had to go through to
get AR to put the real mileage on his 156's replacement clocks,
that it was quite difficult to get this done these days?

Six months average mileage would be about 6000 right ? So why would he have clocked it to show 1000-ish? Are you being paranoid ? If you know him well enough to lend your car then I would ask the fella outright why he only drove 1000 ?

Maybe he was fearful of putting too many miles on it out of friendship. Your guess is probably better than ours right ?

I went through a four year period where I only put about 2k a year on my car. Just depends how you use it!
