RS... Caravan towing with a Brera would have you arrested by the Alfisti Police
So I'm glad the family needs are taking you down the 4 door route!
If you were to look at a 159, and this was my money with your needs, I hate to say it, but i'd go for a 2.4 ti!
Yes I know it's diesel, and only does 33-36mpg, but it's a stonking 5 cylinder engine that sounds great at full chat and very petrol like. It's easily tuned to 270+bhp and circa 430lbft of torque whilst still maintaining that 33-36mpg! It certainly gives the 3.2 V6 a run for it's money without the fuel cost and Insurance costs...
Tyre wear is easily corrected if apparant at all in the first place, by having the wheels aligned, and the engines are huen from granite, whilst servicing costs are very respectable with them at every 21k.
I've had two (09 Brera and 09 Spider) running 252bhp and said 270+bhp respectively and absolutely loved them both. The Interiors make you feel special and you deffo fall in love with them! Try walking away after parking without looking back at it! I challenge you!
The 2.4 would pull you Race car or Van without even knowing it was attached. Cambelts on the 2.4 are at 90k if memory serves me right, so you can forget about that for a while...
Don't become anonamous and dissapear into a sea of bland euro boxes when your reasoning possibly isn't as accurate as you initially thought!
