I disagree that we've got it good in the UK for stonechips. At the moment, driving around the UK is like shot-blasting the front of the car! Whether it is all down to the debris that has come out of the pot-holes, as I say, or whether the salt 'rocks' are to blame (or both) I don't know, but it aint' good. And yes, other manufacturers have the same problem, apparantly the Honda Civic with its relatively steeply angled bonnet has stone chip issues, with similar claims to Honda for resprays.
I do agree with you that bugs, at motorway speed can do damage, for sure. And best of luck with AR - those pixs show that you do have a strong case IMO.
