im supprised you say that? as every indie i have spoken too, and i did a fair bit of research before buying said the second generation 2.4 multijet diesel engines were hugly reliable, and the only problems were from people not getting them serviced properly (EGR/DPF problems)
but that was not my post, i was replying to those who said the diesel, did not hold up the flag for alfa traditions of old.
and a vauxhall engine does that???
as far as fiat grouping stamps, well they are added afterwards.
just like the engine in the 3.6 (V6) porsche cayenne has "porsche" stamped all over it, but it is a VAG unit from VW
the same as a harley davidson V Rod has harley stamped on the engine block, but was made entirley by porsche.
the nissan skyline 350gt (r35) V6 has a renault engine, but is ramped up "nissan"
a stamp does not prove providence, just brand marketing.
this indie stated the engines were vauxhall, with vauxhall internals?
