This is essentially identical to the thread I started on the AROC forum, so please excuse the cross-posting.
Does anyone have any experience with misaligned windows on a Brera?
Mine decided to freeze itself shut while
I was driving; parked up, pulled the door handle and the window only dropped on one side (towards the B pillar, stayed pretty much still towards the A pillar). Hasn't been the same since, and it's missing the rubber on the B pillar by about a quarter of an inch. Instead of contacting the soft rubber, it's running against the slightly harder plastic/rubber just to the left of it.
After some gentle application of Brute Force it's now at a stage where it at least opens and closes relatively freely, but it's still not quite right. Motor/switch all operate fine, so I don't want to go to a dealer and have them tell me it requires A, B and C at a cost of X^Y^Z to realign it.
Forgot to mention, I've tried resetting the windows with the old down, hold; up, hold routine.
Any advice greatly appreciated
