I've had my 56 Brera for a year now so this is everything that's happened to mine
Unable to fill the thing with fuel. A noted problem on the Q4s for which AR developed a replacement fuel tank. Mine had apparently almost made it to its 2½th birthday without this. Done under warranty.
Power steering groan when cold. Wrong power steering fluid. (Should be green instead of reddish brown -- requires fluid and reservoir change). Most dealers should be on top of this, but was evidently missed by at least two in my case.
Front tyres bald on the inner edge after 6,000 miles. Tracking set to parallel to reduce wear.
So.. My main problem with this car has been a whistling noise at (precisely) 2,750rpm (in all gears, in all conditions). Apparently no other car has suffered from this, and it drove me insane over a six month period while my dealers told me they were unable to find a fault. John at Mangoletsi eventually found a problem with a fuel breather pipe -- problem solved and sanity restored
A common issue on earlier builds is rocking driver seat. From which I haven't suffered. Although I have had squeaking seat; which was also cured by John at Mangoletsi.
Windscreen rattle -- treated with silicone grease.
Started misfiring -- failed ignition coil.
As Nev said, steering rack wear is all the rage at the moment. I had mine looked at a couple of weeks ago, and isn't showing any signs of premature wear.
So that's it
The only thing that has really bothered me has been the whistling. Sent me mad! That aside, everything has had a straightforward remedy and so only caused minor blips in what has been 12 months of enjoyment
I'm sure you'll love it
