159 wheel nut torque?

What wheel nut torque should I be using? I've just had a tyre replaced and want the check that its been tightened properly.

I've searched, but can only find references for the 156 (98Nm steel and 90Nm alloy).

Alfa 159

110-120 nm. I got this advice from an undisputed (German) suspension expert...

As tight as you can get it on the ground with a hand wrench, I'd say.
(Tight + 1/4 of a turn or something?)

My torque wrench is set at 100Nm, and I leave it at that for everything, steel or alloy, skinny or fat....
I bet the tyre places don't adjust their air wrenches specifically for particular models...

Hi dave_t
159 alloys 108-132 Nm.(eLEARN 2.2 JTS & 1.9 D DaNm 10.8-13.2)Frighteningly tight-if you don't carry a torque wrench in the car in the event of a puncture( I do.In 2008 I had three.)As our 147 values are 88-108Nm,I use 108 for both.

Thanks all

It looks like I'll go for 108Nm then, although that is quite tight so it looks like the torque wrench will be living in the car (as you say Sir Baloney)!
