Ex Brera 2.2JTS

Well I finally got my Brera back after 2 months in the bodyshop. They've done a superb job and it was well worth the wait. She's had a new rear 3-quarter wing, new rear bumper, new alloy wheel (490 worth!) and tyre, as well as a hell of a lot of rear suspension work done.

As they had her so long the 3-year warranty period expired so they did the MOT which she failed...on wiper blades!

Took her for an hours blast round the M42, M5, M6 M42 circuit on Sunday in the sun, and I can honestly say I now remember why I bought her in the first place! I know I've nearly been seduced by the lure of a big German automatic, but I can safely say I have repented my sins and I've now decided to keep her. You know its love when you can't stop looking out the window, I forgot about this little addiction I have but its now definitely back!

I think one of those Mango's induction kits might be in order soon too...

And all was good on the 8th day...

Pleased to hear it

BTW, hate to cause even more friction but I may be driving a 330d coupe in a few months time...

Nice one Saxondale.

Good to hear the Brera is back to its best and putting a smile on your face.

I've read some really good things from AO members about that Mangos induction kit. Fixes 2.2 hesitation issues and makes the car sound even better.

Yes it does and yes it does. Mod 4 on a well run in 2.2 is hard to beat. Still not a quick car but an absolute hoot!
Few things out there compare well against a Brera (though oddly a 159 does!!)

Which part of the Brera do you rate over the Scirocco?
