They're OK for helping you judge reversing distances, but don't take the place of proper observation
But thats the point I was trying to make, even looking over my shoulder I still would not have seen the lamp post where it was positioned behind me, and it was dark, yes OK, if I had not had the sensors I may have been a bit more cautious, but once you have them, you tend to expect them to work. The other thing, the bl**dy post was in the middle of a car park, not even in a kerbed off area.
Anyway, there is a bit of an indent in the bumper, but I dont think there is any paint damage, if anyone is in the least bit interested how the car is!

Driving Brera S 2.2, wife drives 939 Spider 2.2 and there is a 1972 Spider 2000 S2 in the garage for fun days.
