159 Replacement

If what I'm reading on the Italiaspeed website is true no 159 replacement can be expected before 2012??

Which brings me a problem what will I replace my 159Ti 2.4 with in 2011 when it gets to 3 years old?

I have the SW which lets me fit in enough gear for my bands gigs (with a top box) Drum Kit, PA and some guitars... but its a tight fit and I worry about damaging the interior.

Im thinking of replacing it with a van and a Jaguar XK ! or a Maserati GranTurismo, an 8C is off my scale money wise!

Any suggestions? I'd love another Alfa ... I was hoping for a 169???

Brera SV 2.4JTDM

Hey Stuart,

I had a 156 and also provide PA for a couple of bands. The best solution was a towbar and a trailer. I changed the 156 for a Brera but couldn't bring myself to fit a towbar to it, so I talked my wife into having a towbar on her 147. Now there's a sign of true love!

There's no way there's going to be a replacement for the 159 for some years. There was one slated but last I heard development was on hold indefinitely. Given that development alone takes a couple of years... well you need a new car.

What about a Van and a Brera 1750 turbo when it comes out in a year or so?

I've thought about a trailer ... would go OK with a SportWagon I guess...

I was really hoping for a RWD Alfa ... maybe I should go for one of the 1970 Bertone coupes re-built with a twin spark ?? that would be fun!
