Wrong engines, no Blue and Me, chronic ride - sorry, I'm not interested, its too hardcore a set up for this type of car. Fine on a Caterham.
A touch harsh, although each to their own. In response to the OP and to counter the above;
The 2.2 whilst thirsty, is a lovely engine and way way better than any of the older petrol jts units including the GT (of which I had three), especially with a bit of Mangoletsi treatment!
Blue and me. I agree it would be better to have it than not, but have I missed it? No.
Ride, chronic - Cant speak for the 3.3, but the 2.2 is fine and does what is was designed to do ie make the car handle. It is firm suspension, but not unpleasant, like a Caterham - Not.
Given the prices that you can pick an S up for, I personally think they are a bargain and a worthy sucessor for a GT trade up. The quaility and solidity compared to the GT is a step change and very, very noticable.
