squeaky clutch pedal

At least I hope it is! I can hear a creaking/squeaking noise when pressing the clutch down and when releasing it. I can also feel the vibration in my foot.
I think it's the pedal- anyone else had this?

Yep, you need to remove the little rubber casing at the top of the clutch pedal arm and lube up the push rod. worked on mine.

I had/have this!

My dealer replaced the clutch master cylinder under warranty but warned me they often have it occur again as it is a known fault for which Alfa are seeking a fix. Mine lasted 2 days before the creaking/squeaking returned. The only good thing is that the creak occurs lower down the movement, i.e. below the biting point so it is less noticeable. It used to occur around the bite point so was particulary evident and annoying in slow moving traffic.

Mine does too, but got used to it now. May lube it up though to see if that fixes it

Like Rigid27's experience, mine started around 16-17k and was just at the top part of its travel for a few mm's so you really noticed it mainly in slow, heavy traffic when constantly on and off the clutch pedal.

Mango's fixed it during service but it came back after a few days albeit not always noticeable.

Has anyone heard of a solution on this problem from Alfa?

I have a 2010 Brera and it's squeaked from new! The dealer I bought it from greased the clutch mechanism up and said it would take a while to bed in, but it's only got slightly worse if anything.

My local dealer said it was a "known problem and all the Breras and 159's on my lot will have the same issue"!!

I've sprayed silicon on to the pedal mechanism and I was overjoyed when the squeak disappeared ... only for it to return 3 days later
