Is tracking covered under warranty?

While my car was in the dealers yesterday for other issues, I mentioned that the car has a slight pull to the left. Fault was confirmed and I was told that the tracking is most likely out and will require adjusting. Apparently it is not covered under warranty as my car has done too many miles (6.5K) and it can go through normal driving.
Is this true? Is it not covered?

That's consistent with my experience.

When my dealer called to tell me my fronts were bald on the inside after a whopping 5k miles I had them fit Pirellis and complained about the excessive wear; they advised to have the tracking adjusted at additional cost.

Incidentally, it turned out the wheel balance was out, which couldn't have been helping matters...

Tracking won't be covered, you can knock the tracking out within 1 mile of the dealership by hitting a pot hole hard, but they would have fixed that out of goodwill.

I had mine done for free by Budgens in Shrewsbury. When I first bought the car (not from Budgens) the AA chap picked up on the tyre wear. So, first day of ownership driving back from Chester the hillholder switch failed, I booked it in, mentioned the tyre wear and they sorted it for me. In fact every time I have to go in for a service, I get them to check it. Ive now done 12K on a set of P Zeros with plenty of even grip, and got 20K of the last lot. He He!!
