Oh the joy!!!
right, the guys at Motorvogue gave it a good check after the little snags that were reported (see my previous post somewhere down here).
They admittedly had a couple of things to address:
new battery (the low voltage on the old one causing the various malfunction)
updated alarm sensors (the old ones not working properly)
new plugs, ECU and EGR valve
all of this for the small amount of £ 833.26 (paid by them, since the car is under warranty)
I have driven her just for a few miles this evening, tomorrow I'll have a proper testing, but so far it seems defo better!
After a week of the newer Brera I was quite surprised to feel the difference with the steering: mine has definitely some dodgy clunky noises that are not a good sign. I'll point this out next time I'll take her in to have one of the aluminium fascias changed (the previous owner knocked so many scuffs on the original one!!!), and let's see what they have to say about it.
There was a Brera S ready to be delivered with the lovely "8C like" alloys: I'm quite tempted to get some too! Any ideas where I could buy some and sell mine? I have the seven holes 18" version.
