How's your commute?
Personally, I quite like mine. I've about a 45 mile total journey which takes up to an 1hr to complete. The journey starts with about 17.5 miles of busy rural A road with a good level surface and a small number of challenging but suitable overtaking spots to open her up when stuck behind a lorry or something. This is then followed by about 25 miles of dual carraigeway where I can stick the cruise control on and sit back and enjoy the ride. I've then got a final 7.5 mile treck along some very nice, very quiet and very quick rural roads with some great bends, fantastic overtaking spots and lovely views. For bloke who until May this year caught the train into London everyday for 4 years, this is bliss.
Oh and if your the fella driving a 57 plate Stromboli Grey TI travelling westbound on the A14, passing junction 1 just gone 9am this morning, you've got a nice looking motor there mate. I saw you coming in my mirror and it looked stunning. I was desparate to pull out and follow you but I had to take the exit. Maybe next time.
