Job done - parts arrived next day from Budgen.
Took SC & TZ's advice, and worked a treat. No need to use a hairdryer, the old ones just peeled off without leaving any residue. Cut the paint, cleaned with meths, removed dust and fluff with a damp microfibre cloth and then reapplied the new ones using a spray bottle of water with a few drops of baby shampoo (i knew that baby would come in handy...) and a squeegee blade.
Flat one on the door went on very easily, the shaped one which curves around the edge was a lot fiddlier, and I had to take it off and reapply once or twice.
One tiny spec of dust and one tiny air bubble, which are invisible unless you get on your hands and knees and study the car. I thought that was quite reasonable, until i looked closey at the other side (factory fit) and there are at least two bits of dirt and quite a large air bubble....after that quite pleased with my handywork!
