Had a superb drive out in the dales y/day and the car was a joy to drive, bar the dreadful economy the car is awesome still at 2000 miles, if anything getting better. Some more observations after my first decent night drive :-
Cockpit - looks even better at night, illumination is so stylish
Lights - WOW...the lights on the 156 & GT were poor, the 159 has superb lights both on dip & full
Brakes - Do brakes need bedding in ?....mine seem so much better now than when new..so responsive
Steering - Light and spot on, just the right amount of feedback
Handling - really tested it y/day on some challenging dales roads and the car just glides arounds the twisties
Looks - still people admiring the car - at one of the highest points in yorkshire i was taking some pics and a guy in an M3 stopped to come over and admire it, even commented he was tempted himself but the reliability concerned him (why or why does this myth still exist!), he even took some pics of me with the car
Seats - A long days driving and walking and yet I still felt fine arriving home at 10pm last night...so comfortable.
Overall the car is still stunning and easily achieves a rating of 9/10 from me - it would have been 10 but the fuel consumption is simply dreadful.
Anyone thinking of buying one - as the ad says...'just do it...'
