Have they changed the paint on the 159?

I was just wondering if they have improved the paint on the 159?

As usual, everytime I buy a new car the local councils around here decide to resurface loads of the main roads, especially the ones that I have to use I couldn't believe it when on the second day of owning my new bella they went and resurfaced the local dual carriageway with stone chippings on both sides And that's one road of many thats been chipped around here Of course everyone else just ignores 20mph speed signs and goes belting past sending the usual spray of chippings over my car (Exactly why we need James Bond style rocket launches in the front bumpers)

Just my luck I thought, I dreaded what the front end would be like and yet after washing it each weekend for the past few weeks I still haven't got a single chip (touch wood) hence my thinking that they have changed the paint they're using at least on the front.

What goes around usually gets dizzy and falls over.

Some finishes are definitely more chip resistant than others. The metallics seem to fair well.

Alfa red didn't, but since the respray I haven't picked up a single chip.
