I test drove a 2.2S on Saturday around Edinburgh, up onto the M8 and M9 and loved it, didn't was to give it back.
Suspension was not the bone shaking experience I had read about, steering was v responsive, the sound of the engine was soooooo cool and the looks I got at McD's were amazing
Yes there are downsides, no SV, no bluetooth...big deal, look out the window at the sky and buy a parrot BT kit or similar. The weather in Scotland is not conducive to looking at the sky anyway
There is more headroom in the back seats due to there being no SV, whilst in the back seat, my head was bent to the side in an ordinary Brera but was fine in the S, there's also a cut-away in the back of the front seats allowing around 1.5-2" more room for passenger knees. Realistically, my 5'10" frame could sit in the front passenger seat comfy then with the seat in the same position, get in the back and was still OK (not great but not as bad as you may think).
If it wasn't a great car...I wouldn't have just ordered one
I will be sorry to see my BM go as it has got a great engine, low mileage and a great smooth drive but bring on the Brera !!!
