I posted on a thread many moons ago that I didn't get the style of the 159. Now after spending a good hour pouring over one in Platts yesterday with a very obliging salesman who even offerred a test drive but knew I am not in the market to change for probably 9 months, I must offer my sincere apologies.
I looked at a Ti model and was smitten with the interior. The seats are always a problem for me in any car I have had and after sitting in it for a while I realised that they are brilliant. The dash is a piece of porn to look at. Having never had a modern Alfa (from 156 onwards in my mind) the way the dials are angled is a neat touch.
There seemed to be enough space in the back, even with my seat pushed back.
The one question I have is, the boot, is it big enough? We are planning on expanding the family,
, and already know how much stuff we carried around with our first so does anyone on here have issues with newborns and prams and 159's?
I know I will have to do my homework as her indoors will probably not like it (Mini driver) but I do and I need to work on the finances on a PCP deal as I would be coming out of a company car scheme (which doesn't do Alfa's
) but I am guessing 9 months work on her might pay off.
Any advice on 159's and babies and 159 and decent lease deals are more than welcome.
