2 Weeks and 2000 Miles in my new V6 Ti

Yep, two weeks in and 2000 miles later (been a busy time at work) and I thought I'd let you know how my new babys doing.

So far only two faults (niggles really)
1) The drivers side wiper isn't quite cleaning the window, it's leaving a heavy streak and as Sods Law dictates it's right on my eyeline.
2) The clip on one of the struts for the boot lid has cracked

Apart from that she's great. I can now open her up properly and coming on to the motorway down the slip road the pick up from 2500 rpm to 5000 is fantastic with an awesome noise coming back at me. My favourite noise is just having her sat ticking over in queues of traffic, it sounds great. You can tell it's a car that just wants to be driven. I'm being very good and have kept her under 85 as I don't want to prove my wife right that I'd get a ticket in the first month

Average fuel consumption is still 24-25 mpg which considering how my driving has changed since she passed the 1000 mile mark is pretty good.

And I still haven't stopped grinning

Oh and I finally found out where that noise was coming from

What goes around usually gets dizzy and falls over.

Wiper arm just needs a subtle and gentle bending to increase pressure on the blade - its a known "feature"

(officially there is an adjustment screw somewhere - but bending it slightly works just as well)

My wiper did the same, had it adjusted and have just noticed it is rubbing slightly on the bonnet. I have read about this happening to others. I'll have to take it back in to be adjusted, don't fancy bending it too much!!

Glad you like it. I love mine and the sound is just awesome. I would recommend to anyone thinking about the 3.2 to try the q-tronic - absolutely marvellous. My advice is to get in a tunnel/underpass and floor it......what a superb sound.

awesome. i can't wait to take delivery of mine. the brief test drive demonstrated how solid the 939 chassis is, and how refined the whole car is.
