Tuning & styling question

Hi Guys,

I still haven't collected my new 159 yet (ready to collect this Saturday) and I'm already thinking about tuning and styling options! Typical me - I spent a fair few quid on my previous GTV V6 - very tastefully I might add - no boy racer add ons - just original/authentic touches only!!

Does anyone have information on remapping or upgraded ECU's? What kind of gains can be expected from a 2.4 Jtdm unit and would there be any drawbacks (I'd only consider one if they are 100% safe and compatible with the engine).

Also, I quite fancy the alloy pedal set - they are standard rubber pedals at the moment and after changing them in my GTV they made quite a nice difference. Has anybody bought aftermarket or original Alfa pedals and retro-fitted them?

Thanks in advance..

I would persnoally have a serious look at the J4 conversion by Jano at AutoDelta.

Modifications that are true to the Alfa spirit - if that's a bit much, then Jano will just do the remap, or remap and other bits - you don't have to take the full package.

Remap from Autodelta or Angel would give you 250bhp from the 210bhp unit.
