Ti seats - anyone elses split?

I just noticed the side bolster has split vertically on my Ti, on the outside of the seat, midway between the adjuster switches and the rear pivot, now it might be a tear, but I dont see how, thing is, this section, despite exterior appearances isnt leather and I had a similar issue years ago on an MX5 where the vinyl in the same position split (only in several vertical lines) as basically vinyl isnt flexible enough.

If anyone else has/ had this issue, I will see what they say under warranty, otherwise I will blame my wife or kids and get a spot repair done, this should work as pulling it together loses the seam, as it seems to be creased at this point.

Rather dissapointing at 15,000 miles - the Mazda had done 70,000 before this happened.

Car needs to go back again anyway, its still rough on a cruise and shakes to death on a regen, despite the new EGR gasket and housing fitted, it never used to do either, so something must be broken!
