Dealer charging for diagnostics under warranty
New user here so be gentle! My 2006 2.4 JTD Brera has been well under power recently low down the rev range and was thus returned to the dealer.
The error codes they could find all poited towards the air flow monitor being at fault. They swapped the unit over but it made no difference. They have logged the fault at Alfa Romeo's Technical Department
The dealer is now saying that the 3rd year of warranty doesn't cover diagnostic work and to get to the route of the problem I will be expected to pick up the tab for a couple of hours labour to find the problem?!?!
Has anyone else had this charge thrust upon them? Is it worth arguing the toss with ARUK customer services about it?
