Re: Second Hand Brera Values and the budget
Well all cars are going to take a hit in value regardless of marque and regardless of being new or not. Having said that, Breras are only just starting to come out of lease and onto the second hand market, they are rare and as such are still highly desirable compared to a model which has been around longer, or is more common. Same thing will happen with 946 Spiders next year.
So in conclusion, no car is going to be great at holding value, but these ones should do as well, if not slightly better, than others.
To me, financial value is not the way to think about it - do not consider any car as an asset since they all depreciate (save my dad's E-type!). Once you've bought a car consider the money as gone.
The questions are:
1) Do you want it?
2) Can you afford it?
3) Does it fulfill your practical needs for the next few years and if not do you have access to another vehicle that does?
