Re: How Aggressive Do You Need To Be...
Interesting. I was just about to start a thread concerning the VDC, because I think I've finally found the first problem with my car:
It seems the VDC is waaaaayyyyyy too sensitive on my Brera. It's most noticeable in uphill hairpin bends or when accelerating out of a bend at motorway entrances.
The car brakes/cuts power (but without any warning light) and after the bend the power comes back.
At first I thought that it's the ASR, but if I switch it off, the behaviour is still the same.
Then I tried it with ASR+VDC switched off - and bingo - everything is fine! No interference and also no understeer, tyre squeal or any instability, so I can't understand why the VDC stepped in in the first place.
So at the moment "spirited" driving is not possible with VDC engaged, but it would be nice to have that safety net. I never had such a problem with the 159 (same engine).
So if no other Brera driver has experienced that, I guess, a dealer visit is called for.
