Quality of cloth upholstery in 159s ?

I am considering getting a 159 Turismo and was wondering how the cloth seats may feel compared to the red leather seats I currently have on my 156 Lusso (which is up for sale).

Is the cloth made of high quality materials? What is the general opinion on the quality of the fabric? Does it wear / stain badl, is it easily cleaned etc?

I would love to get a 159 Lusso, but the premium puts me in an impossible financial situation...

Many thanks in advance for your opinion / suggestions / advice

I have seen Breras and Spiders with cloth trim, and had a GTV with cloth trim, and I have to say the quality and feel was very good. Alfa are generally great with interiors, e,g, the plastics don't look or feel plasticky (except where they swapped the genuine aluminium trim for aly coloured plastic on 2008 models )

I have a 1 year old 159 with the "AlfaTex" fabric and it's fantastic. Easy to clean and the chocolate/coke stains from the little uns in the back have been removed easily.
The fabric itself is a kind of faux suede and very nice indeedy!

Re: Quality of cloth upholstery in 159s ?

Before I got the Ti, I had one with beige Alfatex which is an alcantara type material, excellent quality - but stained green by denim!

Every other stain came off with warm water and a microfibre - denim staining needed a shampoo.

I would imagne the dark colours are easier to keep clean.

I deliberately avoided leather with my first car, as I believe the Alfatex is superior to leather, the Ti only has leather so nowhere to go on the second!
