Re: Boot Light Problem

Mine stopped working after I'd had the 159 a couple of months.

Dealer replaced the boot latch mechanism, which apparently has a microswitch which activates the lights when the tailgate is opened.

Not sure whether the Brera will be the same, but it's something else to look at.

Not sure if you found a solution to this but my Brera has the same problem, so if you have the answer please let me know. In the meantime, after a quick look in poor light I suspect that the 2 sprung lugs on either side of the boot lid are connected to microswitches - 1 for boot lid open error and one to activate the light. I plan to have a proper look at the weekend and will update further one way or another.

Mine is broken too, (just another thing on the list) - haven't looked at it yet. Maybe we can get a bulk discount on new catches

I've just written a fix that worked for me on this issue:
