For the third time in about 2000 miles (probably less, actually) I'm driving along and the bl**dy odometer starts flashing at me.
Panic sets in and I glance around the cabin, wondering the manner in which the "Alfaness" has manifested itself this time.
Lo! My air-con (or climate control unit, or whatever it is called) is dead. Again! For the third time.
I'm particularly annoyed because the dealer had the car for 7 working days last time, in a bid to ensure me that 'it was fixed'.
I'm at a loss as to what to do. I mean, the obvious solution is to 'take it back to the dealer' but I'm getting fed up of having to fight my way through rush-hour traffic (in London) to get to Golders Green (clue #1 as to the dealer's name. clue #2: named after a particular alfa engine type....). I was thinking about saying to them 'Your fault: you come and collect the car," but I suspect that they will laugh in my face. I was also considering taking the car to another dealer, in Romford (though I can't remember their name off the top of my head.)
Anyone here have any suggestions as to how I should play this? Anyone here have any experience of said dealer in Romford?
Any advice greatly appreciated. ANY!
