This car's a lot better than my last - the engine sounds and goes ok and I don't have to wrestle with the crunchy gearbox. The rest of the car is in very good condition and it is a very nice spec, so I really do want to keep it.
I just can't believe the dealer left something so obvious, because it either shows complete contempt, or that they didn't even look under the bonnet.
And then it makes you question everything else. There is a piece of paper with the car with all the boxes ticked including checking the oil (which was off the dipstick), check warning lights (which there were two showing) and check washer fluid (which ran out on the way home).
The dealer is collecting the car from me, taking back to the workshop and they are going to sort out the issues.
Still, I would like to know why the cover has been butchered in the first place - was it to make room for a tuning box or something?
