Re: Rear suspension heights on 159 ti
been a few days now, the suspension has settled now and the difference is even more visible now as the ride height is significantly lower.
payed a visit to the dealer and checked the two 159s that they have in the showroom and they all have 1-2cm differences.
after lots of checking, measuring and phone calls to different 'gurus' they could only tell me that it's prolly a 'feature' to compensate the roads gradient (towards left side on mainland europe for the water to drain) and it's most likely something that alfa engineers came up with.
if this is the case, uk cars should all be lower on the left side.
obviously i cant buy this explanation so i'm asking for your opinion guys.
nothing wrong with the way car handles - even before with the stock suspension - it's straight on the road and corners exactly the same, but as i told you, the difference is quite visible now and that's something that really bothers me.
also, i've been constantly measuring it for the past days as i started with the gas tank full - now it's almost empty - and it has nothing to do with. i even removed the spare tire and the tool kit.
