Re: 159 trade 2.2 for 3.2
Thanks for your honesty.
Did I read on here that one member complained about his car, and ARUK bought it back, and he bought another, I just wish I had the time and energy to do that, or I wish that AR just put in the time and energy to get their product right.
When looking to buy the 159, I looked at Golf GTi (too flashy), BMW 3 saloon (terrible rear, in fact terrible all round looks), but the 159 won on looks and the fact that I believed the quality issues had been resolved.
I really don't want to stop entertaining all my neighbours (who also love the 159), but laugh every time there is a courtesy car on the drive as the car has been back 11 times in a year. Bad advert for AR, they will never buy.
Choice now, take a massive hit on trade in, buy the car I should have done 18 months ago (and join the gang of one time Alfa owners who have been there, done that).
BMW 125i coupe or 135i coupe (deals to be had), shockingly good engines, but agree on some of the comments made here on handling
R32 (love the backside and rude exhaust note)
If other manufacturers are struggling, how can AR survive in this climate? (I hope they do, but probably will not buy another)
