Stubborn locking wheel nut
I though I would use a little spare time I had this weekend to swap the front and rear wheels on my 159 due to the old uneven tyre wear problem.
All was going smoothly until I tried to undo one of the the locking wheel nuts. I cant get the 'key' to grip properly in the nut, and it just keeps slipping out. I have tried using a longer handled wrench for more leverage, but this hasn't helped, and I tried getting the missis to hold the business end of the wrench in line with the bolt to minimise twist, but this also hasn't worked.
It seems the nut has just been over tightened, but I'm now worried about ruining the head of the bolt, and damaging the wheel.
Any ideas how to shift the damn thing? Fortunately it was the first wheel I tried to remove, so I han't waisted any time getting the other one off.
Any tips greatfully received.
