I'm not really a worrier, PG. I'll just need to make sure I've got very good comprehensive insurance from now on.
And I'm not too concerned about the cost, in this instance, either - it's being picked up by Alfa under warranty. Without even the tiniest quibble. Well done Alfa.
Apparently there is really no way to replace the windscreen alone. Looking at how it's secured I can see why. I doubt you'd ever get a replacement to sit properly, be watertight and not fall out when the top goes down.
Worth remembering that heated screen repair kit though, for the future.
It's getting done next week, so fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.
