Outside air temp gauge

The outside air temp was indicating a glorious 10 C yesterday evening, but I felt more like Capt. Oates in his last moments. Anyone else has this? Is it a simple fix? The car is in for a 18K service at the end of the month and still under warranty. Any suggestons?

Re: Outside air temp gauge

Just read that and thought isn’t the temperature sensor mounted in the wing mirror because if you have heated mirrors you could end up with some crazy readings. That said I’ve had mine for nearly three years now and haven’t noticed any bizarre readings.
