I've been out of the country on business for the last couple of weeks and didn't log in, so it was gratifying to see some further discussion. I have started three threads on this issue, taken the dealer to the NZ Motor Vehicle Disputes Tribunal (which failed, because the car was bought for business purposes, so no implicit requirement for dealer to sell a car of merchantable quality - can you believe it?) and bashed my head against a brick wall with the selling dealer, two other dealer/agents and the importer - so am well tired of the whole business.
But, for the record, mine is an 07 registered/06 built Q4 - bought with 18,000km on the clock, now with around 40,000km. Selling dealer was Euromarque, NZ importer and warranty provider is ATECO.
I would be very, very keen to get a direct contact in Italy at the factory, so if someone can offer me a telephone number or preferably an e-mail address, I would love to be able to talk to Alfa directly.
