Re: Brera Automatic Question
Having had a selespeed GT and now a Qtronic 3.2 Brera, they are very different, the selespeed is a manual gearbox with a hydrolic clutch whereas the Qtronic is an out and out auto box, the Qtronic is much more refined and acts like an auto as you'd expect, there are some quirks as tony says, I feel it holds too long between 2nd & 3rd but thats my opinion, although it changes down as tony says i havent found it to be an issue, in manual mode you can only shift up/down when the engine speed allows, whilst this is a good thing to protect the engine its a little annoying sometimes as you cant get into 6th until around 60mph.
All in all I dont regret getting the Qtronic, i did test it extensivley beforehand, which as Stori says go and try one or you'llnever know if its right.
